We believe Safety is a Serious Matter. In order to ensure our employees are equipped to do their part in maintaining a safe work environment, DEI apprentices and electricians are required to attend a safety class, watch a safety video and attend regular regular Tool Box Talks on the job site. At DEI we strive to comply with the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) Hazard Communication Standard (HCS). Our employees are fully informed about the chemical hazards encountered at the work place. Furthermore, we have developed a Fall Protection Program to help reduce the number of hazards on the job site. We make certain each employee understands the dangers posed by falls and knows how to react to each hazard. Employees are expected to immediately report unsafe conditions, equipment, and/or other circumstances where potential hazards may exist.
In addition to safety education, DEI is a DRUG FREE WORKPLACE and requires all employees to pass a drug screening at the time they are hired and anytime they are involved in an on the job accident.
